Bimaldi respects the privacy of those whose personal data is processed by Bimaldi, including particularly that of both visitors and users of the website www.bimaldi.com (hereafter referred to as: ‘the website’). Bimaldi considers the careful handling of personal data to be of great importance. Bimaldi will process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016).
Bimaldi processes the personal data that you provide to Bimaldi, such as:
– Placing orders, including pre-orders and/or viewing a virtual collection via the website;
– Sending a message using the contact form on the website;
– Registering for and receiving newsletters or promotions;
– Logging in to your account on the website.
Your personal data will be processed and shared by Bimaldi with third parties if and insofar as this is done with your permission or if and to the extent that this is deemed necessary:

c) For the defence of the legitimate interests of Bimaldi or of a third party, except where your interests or fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms that require protection of personal data outweigh those interests.
Legitimate interests include, for example, the detection of (attempts to) unlawful and/or punishable conduct directed against Bimaldi or third parties, for example, in connection with the use of the website. Personal data is only kept by Bimaldi for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was obtained. Bimaldi implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss and against any form of unlawful processing. These measures, including encryption by means of an SSL certificate, guarantee, by taking into account the state of the art and the costs of implementation, an appropriate security level in view of the risks involved in the processing, and the nature of the data to be protected. These measures are also aimed at preventing any unnecessary processing of personal data.
